I am a Ph.D. student and Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Department of History & Geography at the University of Texas at Arlington. My work focuses on imperialism, colonialism, race, and white supremacy, with particular attention to the Caribbean and the United States. This site collects my historical research alongside my fictional work – two modes of the same obsession with how the past shapes the present.
